We popped up for a long weekend visiting family friends, we were recommended this farm shop and all I can say is the meat is just lovely. We bought a couple of their pies which are very filling and went down well with everyone. The overall atmosphere was very welcoming and we will definitely be visiting again when travelling up for another visit.

Sat outside the shop right now. Bought a few items to try later. But just tried their sausage roll. Best I have had in a very long time. Made the way all sausage rolls should be made. 👍🏻 Same quality in the steak and the steak & kidney pies. A class above mass. The proof is in the product. Not my waffling. Your shout.

This company catered my cousin’s wedding in Appleby this July. The food was superb and made a wonderful day all the more memorable. Thank you the food really was delicious and I would highly recommend them for other events in the area.

We used Low Howgill Butchers for catering for a family party, and it was amazing! Delicious sandwiches, quiches, pies and the best coleslaw I have ever had! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area!

Bought a Sirloin and a Rib Eye steak when we were in Appleby. Very disappointed with the quality, both steaks contained a lot of gristle and were not worth the money. Nothing special for a lot of money.

Brilliant butchers shop with produce of the very highest quality. Staff are very helpful. A good place to get bones for your dog (for a small donation to charity). Also the best millionaire shortbread in the area! Goes very well with their take-out coffee 😉
